Plymouth University in association with The Helen Kennedy Foundation awards bursaries to students who are just starting their University career. Candidates must be at the end of their high school studies or enrolled in their final year at of a Scottish Highers course at an FE/ sixth form college. Successful candidates receive the maximum bursary valued at £1500 to enable students who have financial challenges. The foundation also offers recipients personal and practical support to better their chances of being placed in a job after they complete their studies. In addition, free career development training and understudy opportunities. After receiving the award, you will be expected to meet obligations to the foundation such as assisting with publicity campaigns.
Students must successfully complete high school or A level studies. You should not have any prior higher education studies. At the time when you apply for the scholarship, you should possess an offer to earn an HND, BA, BSc,Bed or foundation degree at the Plymouth University.
